Candlelight Program

Free Chapel Worship Ctr, 3001 McEver Road, Gainesville, GA 30504
Lakeview students of all ages perform a variety of musical numbers at this very special, annual event. The conclusion of the evening is the candle ceremony by the 8th grade and the lighting of candles by the senior class as they lead the audience in singing "Silent Night."
  • Middle School Ushers will need to arrive at 6:15
  • Members of the Lakeview Academy Chorale, Middle School Chorus, and 8th Grade Speakers should arrive promptly at 6:30 p.m.,
  • All other participants (Lakeview Pride Kids’ Choir, Lower School Students, Seniors and 8th Graders) should arrive by 6:45 p.m.
As students arrive at the church, they should report to their reserved assigned seats in the auditorium. Teachers will supervise students in their assigned areas.

Attire for the Candlelight participants is as follows:
  • All K3 through 5th grade male participants should wear dressy attire, which may include a blazer, tie or holiday sweater with dress shoes (no tennis shoes).
  • All K3 through 5th grade female participants should wear “dressy” dresses (knee to tea length) in any color or fabric with dress shoes (no tennis shoes).
  • Chorale and Middle School Chorus members have been given guidance on their dress for the evening.  Please check with your child for details.
  • Seniors, 8th Graders & Middle School Ushers should wear standard “dress” attire.  For females, this is defined as a dress or pantsuit.  For males, this is defined as a collared shirt with optional coat and tie.
