The Lion Fund

The LION FUND is Lakeview Academy’s annual giving fund. It has replaced Lakeview’s “Annual Fund.” Rather than funding operating expenses such as utility bills and basic salaries, the LION FUND supports enhancements to academics and technology, athletics, and fine arts. It allows us to turn an excellent student experience into an exemplary student experience. Extending classroom technology for student use, recruitment and retention of strong faculty and coaches, support for all athletics teams, enhancements to the fine arts program, support for the robotics teams, and more are just some of the areas in which the LION FUND has made a difference. Donations to the LION FUND are 100% tax-deductible and are unrestricted. 10% of the LION FUND also goes to support the Lakeview Academy Endowment which helps sustain Lakeview in perpetuity.

In 2019, Lakeview’s faculty and staff annual giving participation rates were 100%. Lakeview’s parent participation rate was 33%. Our goal in 2020-2021 is to increase parent participation to 100%. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
