    eSports Team Headed to East Coast Sweet 16!

    Mario Kart is new in the realm of high school eSports, and therefore, this particular division is made up of teams all across the East Coast. Lakeview's team upset the #8 seed team (a team from Connecticut) and have advanced to the Sweet 16 round of playoffs! Their next round is Friday afternoon against #11 seed, South Forsyth High School.

    Congratulations to Lakeview Academy's varsity golf team for finishing 4th at the Hall County Invitational over the past two days. Sophomore Tanner Stephens finished third as an individual (male) and made the All-Tournament Team by shooting a 2 under par 70 and finished in a tie for 3rd. Junior Chandler Lovell also finished in the top 10 as an individual by shooting a 6 over 78 over the two days.

  • Varsity Team Has Great Day at Dawg Dash Track Meet

    Our track athletes had a great day at the 4th Annual Dawg Dash Track Meet today. Emmie Finley won 1st Place in both the Discus and Shot Put by significantly improving both of her school records. Evan Yaskulka officially broke the 100-foot mark in the Discus throwing it 100' 8" for a 2nd Place finish. Catherine Chandler improved her school record by running the 1600m in 7:04.65. Hank Brock & Max Marshall battled it out in the Hurdles. Max came in 2nd Place and Hank 3rd Place in the 110m Hurdles, and Max got a 3rd Place finish in the 300m Hurdles. In the 3200m, Miles D'Amore came in 2nd Place and Jackson Newton came in 3rd Place setting a personal record.  Overall, our athletes Improved 3 School Records and had 16 Personal Records.     Lakeview Wins JV Discus at Hall Co Track & Field, Places in Several Events, and Sets Many School Records

    At the Hall County Track & Field Championships, Lakeview Academy’s varsity and JV teams placed in several events, broke five school records, set one new school record, and had 22 personal best performances.
    The varsity girls relay team of Chloe Echols, Angela Lynden, Annie Nivens, and Sara Nivens came in 3rd Place in both the 4x200m Relay and the 4x400m Relay! Shelby Nottingham won the JV Discus for the second year in-a-row and came in 3rd Place in the JV Shot Put. Also in JV competition, Miller Jones placed 3rd in the 200m and Miles D'Amore also came in 3rd Place in the 800m.

    Filson Breaks Hall County Soccer Scoring Record

    The varsity girls soccer team won 10-0 tonight and Millie Filson set two big records. With her first goal, she set the new school record for goals scored in a career. The previous record was by Carmen Wagner '17, who scored 111 total goals. Millie's third goal of the game set the girls' Hall County record, besting Maggie Wadsworth of Flowery Branch who finished her career with 113 goals. Congratulations, Millie!

    Millie Filson joins elite 100 soccer goals club for Hall County

    During a game in which the ninth ranked Single A Private Lakeview Academy girls soccer team defeated the sixth ranked AAA Lumpkin County team 5 to 3, Millie Filson joined the elite 100 goals club for Hall County! She now has 103 goals for her high school career joining only three other girls in the history of Hall County to achieve over 100 goals.

    Individual Swimmers Place at Hall Co. Championship Meet

    Lakeview's swim team competed in the Hall County Championship earlier today. Marina Pate set a personal record on the 200IM claiming 5th Place in the county (2:54.03). Jessica Perry, finished 8th overall in the 100 free with a time of 1:11.60. The team as a whole worked hard and had fun. Congratulations to all!
