9th Grade College Trip

Please be ready to leave Lakeview Academy at 7:45 AM.  The bus will be leaving from the front of the school.  We will be traveling to Kennesaw State University for a tour and for lunch and then spending the afternoon visiting the University of North Georgia's Dahlonega campus.  We anticipate being back around 6:00 p.m.  Students will be reminded to call their parents when we are on the way home and have a more accurate estimate of our arrival time.

 

What to bring:

You do not need to bring any money with you as you will be billed for the trip and lunch.  However, we will be visiting the bookstores on campus and you will need money if you would like to purchase items in the bookstores or snacks. You may want to bring a light jacket or an umbrella if it looks like it might rain. Bring a positive attitude and thoughtful questions.

 

What to wear: 

You may dress out of uniform. However, we ask that you dress "business casual," meaning khakis and a collared shirt for gentlemen and a conservative sundress/skirt/pants and a nice shirt for ladies. (Please note: leggings do not count as pants). Dress comfortably and appropriately, especially in the shoe department. We will be doing a LOT of walking.
