Lakeview Student Wins 3rd Place in Performing Arts Competition

Congratulations to Lakeview sophomore, Garv Gaur, who placed third in the Gainesville Kiwanis Club Charles J Thurmond Performing Arts Scholarship competition. The Gainesville Kiwanis Club awards $5000 in scholarships to local students in the performing arts each year. "Charles J Thurmond was a much loved and well-remembered member of our Kiwanis Club and he focused a lot of his time to building up the youth in our community.
