Homecoming Made for a Colo(u)rful Week!

I really appreciate you all (or y’all, as I am learning)! Last week was the most colo(u)rful week we’ve had in a long time. I'm so glad that the Lakeview Community has been able to have some much-needed fun, and end the week with Homecoming court and a whopping win over Towns County. Students, faculty, and staff continue to do an excellent job keeping us all safe; I am proud of our very low COVID numbers and the fact that we have been open every day for business. We continue to look at the data and make empirically-based decisions to evaluate operations and make adjustments while staying in keeping with our health and safety protocols. Please expect some additional modifications over the coming week that will ease some of the restrictions and make the teaching and learning environment a little easier. Finally, I will soon be commencing a series of off-campus meetings with parents, by grade-level. These receptions will be an informal opportunity for me to get to know you better, and vice versa.
