LA Thespians Shine at Georgia Thespians State Leadership Conference
At the Georgia Thespians State Leadership Conference, Lakeview students, Ari Mikels and McClairin Garmon were selected out of over the 200+ who auditioned statewide for ALL-STATE THEATRE and will be members of the cast for the virtual opening/closing numbers. In addition, Lakeview's Troupe 3630 earned Gold Honor Troupe status, the highest achievable. Lakeview junior, Noah Caplan, is representing Thespian Troupe 3630 as a State Thespian Officer candidate with elections in January 2021
Ari Mikels and McClairin Garmon were selected out of over the 200+ who auditioned statewide for ALL-STATE THEATRE and will be members of the cast for the virtual opening/closing numbers. This is a huge honor and one that is well earned by these talented junior and sophomore Lakeview students!
Special thanks to Angela Lynden and Kate McCamy for creating a 138-slide portfolio recapping all of the troupe’s 2019-2020 activities and helping them earn GOLD HONOR TROUPE status (the highest you can achieve). As historians, both girls have done a wonderful job in putting together this huge project and we are so appreciative of their dedication and creativity.
Noah Caplan represented Thespian Troupe 3630 as a State Thespian Officer candidate along with 37 other candidates across the state. Angela Lynden and Ari Mikels served as our troupe representatives. Noah will work hard before the elections in January 2021 in order to have his peers statewide consider him for election. If he wins, he will be one of eight in Georgia who earn this high distinction and will serve for one year.
