Lakeview Girls Soccer Wins Opening Season Match 9-2

The Lakeview girls soccer team opened their season tonight with a 9-2 victory over North Hall. Millie Filson scored in the first few minutes to put Lakeview up 1-0, but North Hall's Brooklyn Green scored the equalizer a few minutes later. Lakeview turned on the pressure and went up 5-1 at halftime with two more goals from Millie and a goal each from Annie Nivens and Sara Nivens.  Lakeview kept up the pressure in the 2nd half getting a 4th goal from Millie Filson, two goals from McKenna Filson, and a goal from Ella Grace Leek.   Gracen Wood scored the 2nd goal for North Hall late in the 2nd half.  McKenna, Annie, Millie, and Lauren Scott each had assists.  Celia Wilson-Patino had 5 saves in goal for Lakeview.
