Varsity Girls Soccer Team Wins First Region Game of Season

The Lakeview girls stand 1-0 in region play after an 8-0 victory over the Weber School tonight. Millie Filson scored four goals to lead the Lady Lions. Sara Nivens and Annie Nivens each recorded two goals. McKenna Filson had 4 assists. Lauren Scott, Millie, and Sara also had an assist. The Lakeview defense preserved the shutout as goalkeepers Celia Wilson-Patino and Ashlyn Henderson each had two saves in goal.
