Another Shutout for the Lady Lions

The Lakeview girls soccer team defeated region opponent Mt Pisgah Christian School 10-0 tonight. Sarah Nivens led the attack with 4 goals. Millie Filson also scored a hat trick with 3 goals. McKenna Filson added 2 goals and Annie Nivens scored the final goal. McKenna, Millie, Annie, Ella Grace Leek, Virginia Cobb, and Lauren Scott each had assists. The defense of Scott, Cobb, Pavani Reddy, Claire Morgan, and Chloe Dierkes held Mt Pisgah to only 5 shots. Goalkeeper Celia Wilson-Patino preserved the shutout with 3 saves in goal.  

Millie's first goal of the night set a school record for career goals, topping Carmen Wagner (2017 graduate - 111 goals scored). Millie's third goal gives her 114 for her career, which sets a new Hall County record, besting Flowery Branch's Maggie Wadsworth (2021 graduate) who had 113.
