Garv Gaur is National Cyber Scholar

Garv Gaur was named a National Cyber Scholar for the second year in-a-row in the recent National Cyber Scholarship Competition. Garv was one of only 93 students in Georgia and one of the top 1,152 highest scoring high school students nationwide to be ranked as a finalist from a pool of 45,000 peers. The National Cyber Scholarship Competition(NCSC) is a rigorous 48-hour online cybersecurity competition sponsored by The National Cyber Scholarship Foundation (NCSF). Qualifiers competed in challenges such as solving computer security problems and capturing and defending computer systems. Garv earned an invitation to participate in the Cyber Foundations Academy– a multi-week online program based on the nationally-recognized SANS Foundations training course and certification– valued at more than $3,000. He plans to attend Brown University in fall 2022 to pursue study in computer science, economics and music.
