One of the items from the 2016 Auction, (of which the proceeds go towards the Annual Fund, and therefore, Lakeview Academy), was to choose a snow day for school to be closed during the 2016-17 school year. The winning bidder chose Friday, February 17.

Lakeview Academy is a private, coeducational day school for students in preschool through 12th grade, located in Gainesville, GA minutes off I-985/Hwy 365.
