Yes! We offer need-based tuition assistance as well as flexible payment options. Approximately 25% of our families receive tuition assistance. We are happy to discuss options with you at any time. Lakeview Academy accepts applications year round. We send out acceptance letters for the following school year beginning in early March, but we encourage you to begin the application process as early as possible for the following academic year to secure your space in the class.
Yes! Our on-site Extended Learning program is available to preschool through 5th grade students from 2:15 p.m. (or whenever their school day ends) until 6:00 p.m. Our program consistently receives the highest score from the state regulatory agency. The rate for this service is $7/hour; $12/hour for drop-ins.
Yes, there are three bus routes with designated stops where students gather to meet the bus. The bus routes travel to Buford, Braselton, Chateau Elan, Cumming, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, and Suwanee.
Many opportunities are available for Lakeview parents to volunteer. The Lakeview Parents Association (LPA), the Fine Arts Booster Club (FAB), the Athletic Booster Club, and various in-class and other school activities all welcome parental involvement. Classes for all divisions begin at 8:25 a.m. We encourage students to arrive a few minutes early in order to be prepared to start at 8:15. End times are as follows:
Lakeview utilizes an impartial financial aid and award management tool. Multiple factors are considered when evaluating a family’s ability to pay, including but not limited to household income, family size, the number of children attending tuition-charging schools, and assets and liabilities not reflected in household income. If you feel you will need tuition assistance, we encourage you to apply.
No. We offer need-based tuition assistance for 1st through 12th grade only. We offer a monthly payment plan option for all grades. Our monthly payment plan does not offer a discount on tuition, but it does allow you to spread your tuition payment over the academic year without paying interest.
