    Lakeview Academy is known as a leading independent, college-preparatory day school with a strong sense of community that sets it apart from other schools in northeast Georgia. For over 50 years Lakeview has welcomed students age 3 through 12th grade into a learning environment that encourages independence and self advocacy.
     
    Students’ curiosity is sparked through a rigorous curriculum, and interpersonal relationships are developed through extensive extracurricular activities including award-winning fine arts, athletics, and innovation programs. We offer individualized learning through intentionally small class sizes. Students are encouraged to take educational risks along the path to growth, success, and becoming a lifelong learner.

Our Location

Lakeview Academy is located on an 97-acre campus off I-985/Hwy 365 in Gainesville, GA. Bus routes are available to/from: Buford, Braselton, Chateau Elan, Cumming, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, Suwanee, and more.

Accreditation and Memberships

Lakeview Academy is a member of and is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS). Other memberships include the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), and the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA).

Lakeview’s PreK 3 and 4 programs are fully licensed by the State of Georgia, Bright from the Start.

    Lakeview Stories is a new video series that provides a candid glimpse of Lakeview Academy through the lens of our students, parents, alumni, faculty, and more. Lakeview Academy is truly one family with countless stories to tell, and we are beyond excited to share each one with you!

Lakeview's Esports Mario Kart team had an incredible season, ending the year as the Eastern Region Championship Runner-up against over 100 teams from Canada to Florida! Lakeview Academy has also been selected as one of ten schools in the United States honored by FIRST for fostering a high-quality and supportive learning environment and for its commitment to the FIRST robotics program.
