Andrew Estes led the Lions to the Championship pitching 6 strong innings, allowing only 2 runs while striking out 8! Campbell Melson finished out the game pitching the 7th inning. At the plate, Skyler Thellman was 3 for 4 with a Double. KJ Millwood added a huge 2 RBI Single in the 4 run 4th inning. Ian Echols was 2 for 4 with big 2 RBI Singles and scored twice. Jordan Thomas 2 for 4 including executing some nice bunts, the last one leading to the 3 run 7th inning. Catcher Sam Stewart was on base 3 times and scored twice, including a Single to start the Lions big 4th inning. Sam also threw out 2 runners on the bases.
