Clay Target Athletes Place at Meet
The Lakeview Clay Target Team had a great day at Tom Lowe Olympic Shooting Center in Atlanta on Saturday September 25. The team was lead by Jakob Duke, Brody Calvert, Akhil Mangalat, Joshua Davis, Ryan Black, and Stuart Daniel. Jakob Duke took 2nd place overall and 1st in American 16 yard Trap. Brody Calvert logged the high score among all middle school participants and 2nd overall among MS and HS shooters in Sporting Clays.
The team is at home this weekend (8:30 a.m. on October 2, 2021) at Cherokee Gun Club in Gainesville for the Club Championship 50/50/50. Spectators are welcome. This is a great opportunity for those interested in joining the team next year to come out and see what this sport is all about.
