  • Lady Lions Place 2nd at Lanierland

    Our Lady Lions stunned Flowery Branch when they upset them 52-47 at Lanierland in December. Their win secured their spot in the finals. It was the first time in school history that the Lady Lions made it to the finals at Lanierland. Lakeview lost a tough one to North Hall (58-66) in the championship game to finish as runner-up in the tournament. GO LION!

    Four Lakeview Lions were chosen to participate in the FCA All-Star football game- Trent Glover, Jordan Thomas, Kaleb Adams and Brandon Wilson, (unfortunately, Kaleb and Brandon were ill and unable to participate). Our players represented the West team and helped the team win 10-7!

  • 800 WINS for Coach John Carrick!

    Lakeview's John Carrick earned his 800th win in a victory over Franklin High School. Coach Carrick started his career in Putnam Co., and then coached for 27 seasons at Georgia College, and most recently for the past 10 years at Lakeview. Leading Lakeview was Eliza Snyder with 18 points and 10 reb. Joelle Snyder had 14 points; Jackie Allen 11 points, 6 assists, 4 steals; and Maddy Towles chipped in 6 points and 4 reb. Lakeview is currently 6-4.

  • Lakeview's US Robotics Team Ranked #1 in League

    The Upper School Robotics team competed this past weekend at their final regular season meet at Alliance Academy in Cumming. The team won all five of their matches and finished 1st place for the day. The team is also now ranked #1 overall in the league. They will compete next at the League Tournament on January 18th at Alliance Academy.
