  • Lakeview Has THREE Governor's Honors Finalists

    Three Lakeview juniors have been selected as Governor's Honor Finalists: Maggie Abboud (World Languages: French), Garv Gaur (Engineering: Computer & Software), and Celia Wilson-Patino (World Languages: German). They are among only 650 other Finalists – one-fourth of 1% of eligible sophomores and juniors in the state. Congratulations!

  • Four Lakeview Champions from Region Technology Tournament

    Lakeview had 5 students participate in the Georgia Independent and Homeschool Regional Technology Competition and all had top placements in their respective categories. The students winning 1st place in their category will compete in the State-level competition coming up at the end of April.

  • Lakeview Lion to Play Baseball at University of Dayton

    Lakeview senior Skyler Thellman signed his scholarship offer to play baseball for the University of Dayton earlier today. Skyler is ranked in the Top 500 nationally by Perfect Game and is a 2021 Baseball Factory/Under Armour Pre-season All American and 2020 and 2021 Rawlings All American-Southeast Region.

  • Lakeview Takes 1st & 2nd Place at Hall County Optimist Oratorical Contest

    Lakeview Academy students competed in the Hall County Optimist Oratorical contest Sunday and placed first and second. Competing against students from two other schools, Maggie Abboud placed first and Garv Gaur came in second. Both will advance to Zone competition later this spring in hopes of winning a spot in the Gateway District finals. District winners will be awarded $2500 scholarships.

  • Lakeview Golf Team Wins Valhalla Cup

    On Saturday, Lakeview's varsity golf team won the Valhalla Cup from Chimney Oaks and beat 2nd Place North Hall by 21 points. Freshman Shay Mangalat and Freshman Tanner Stephens tied for low medalist with a one-over 73.

  • Lakeview Robotics Teams Headed to State!

    Lakeview's varsity robotics teams are going to State! At the region tournament, Team # 5898 was 1st runner-up for the Connect Award and Team # 18443 was 2nd runner-up for the Think Award. Both teams placed in the top 10 in the league: Team 18443 ranked 4th and #5898 was 7th.

  • Lakeview Takes 2nd at State One Act Play Competition

    Lakeview's cast and crew of Urinetown, the Musical were named the GHSA Class A Private State Runners Up for the One-Act Play competition Saturday in Warner Robins. In addition, Hannah Oldroyd and Ari Mikels were named to the State All-Star Cast. In the last decade, Lakeview Academy has finished strong in this competition, winning the state championship five times from 2014-2018.

  • Basketball Teams State Bound Again!

    For the seventh year in a row, both our varsity girls and boys basketball teams have clinched a spot in the state playoffs! Both teams defeated Pinecrest Academy's teams to secure their spots. The first playoff game for the girls will be at 6pm on Tuesday, February 23rd at Mt. Paran Christian School. The boys will play their first game Wednesday, February 24th at Christian Heritage in Dalton, time TBA.
