  • Gina Bryant Scholarship Recipient Announced

    Congratulations to Kate Gottsman who was awarded the Gina Bryant Fine Arts Scholarship. This scholarship was established to honor the many years of service of Gina Bryant, Lakeview Academy's long time Fine Arts Director and theater teacher. The scholarship is awarded to a rising junior or senior who embodies Mrs. Bryant's love of the arts, sense of humor, work ethic and high ideals.

    Congratulations to Bodie Blackwell, Kate Gottsman, Grace Liu, Anna Grace Marshall, Hannah Perkins, and Marc Seay who are Lakeview Academy's members of the 2020-2021 Youth Leadership Hall (YLH) class. The Greater Hall Chamber program is for high school juniors and seniors and seeks to "provide an investment in the community’s future leadership by fostering interest in the community and inspiring students to become the leaders of tomorrow."

  • Lakeview's DAR Good Citizen Award Nominees Announced

    The Colonel William Candler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution annually presents a Good Citizen Award. Congratulations to senior, Elise Roark (high school), and to 8th grader, Levi Grover (middle school), Lakeview Academy's DAR nominees. This award "is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship." Students selected for this honor "possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities." The students must also have high academic standards requiring excellence at all times.
