Welcome to Lakeview Academy’s Pascual Library! The library is a dynamic hub of learning for all students. The Pascual Library is located in the Lower School building and serves students from preschool to 8th grade. Lower school students attend library classes once a week and middle school students are welcome to come to the library at any time. Our upper school students have access to our digital library through our library catalog. We offer a variety of print and electronic resources for research purposes, as well as for pleasure reading. We are staffed by a full-time librarian.
The mission of the library is to encourage curiosity and to support instruction through collaboration with classroom teachers. Students in preschool through 5th grade attend weekly library lessons. Our youngest students enjoy story time while learning how to use a library. Students in grades 1 – 5 are taught research skills using a variety of resources. The Pascual Library is a place that students of all ages use to gather information, meet with tutors and study groups, or to simply relax with a good book.
