  Athletic Competition

  Interscholastic competition conforms to requirements of membership in the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) and Lakeview Academy. Lakeview Upper School athletic programs are governed by GIAA. Please contact the Athletic Director about information on GIAA.
  
  

  Non-Athletic Competition
  Activities sponsored by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) provide an opportunity for students in grades 9 through 12 to compete in drama, public speaking, academic writing, and music. Lakeview students participate in region and state competition in One-Act Play in the fall and in Literary (essay, dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, solo, trio, and quartet) in the spring. Interscholastic competition conforms to requirements of membership in the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA).

• Private Music Lessons

  Private music lessons in piano, guitar, violin, trumpet and beginning brass can be scheduled at Lakeview on a first come first served basis. Scheduling is done through the cooperative efforts of the parent, teacher, and the music director.
