9th Grade & New Upper School Students Laptop Rollout and Boot Camp

This year’s laptop rollout will follow a group-based, station format where students move through setup steps in small groups. Students may arrive any time between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to complete the 20–25 minute process.
After completing all stations, students will stay for the 9th-grade and new Upper School student boot camp, which will last until 3:30 pm.

9th-grade students and other students who are new to Lakeview's Upper School should attend the Laptop Rollout and Boot Camp. The following topics will be covered at the laptop pick-up and boot camp:

- Issuing students their laptops and chargers
- Guiding students through changing their passwords
- Reviewing key features of their laptop
- Verifying that students can access key resources (Lion Portal, OneDrive, Office365, and Microsoft Teams)
- How to be successful in high school
- Summer Assignments
- How to get involved in extracurricular activities
- Q/A & extra help
