Congratulations to Emma Kate Park and Luke Lovell for their selection as the Lakeview Academy DAR Good Citizens Award winners. The DAR Good Citizens program and scholarship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The student must have the ability to foster the spirit of American patriotism and loyal support of our country and constitutional government, and to demonstrate the ability to relate this to subjects concerning current events. The student must have high academic standards requiring excellence at all times. The reception for local DAR winners was held earlier today.
