Congratulations to Lakeview’s middle school robotics team for their outstanding performance this weekend at the 2017 Georgia First Lego League State Championship Tournament where they won the 1st Place Mechanical Design Award.
Congratulations to Lakeview’s middle school robotics team for their outstanding performance this weekend at the 2017 Georgia First Lego League State Championship Tournament. The team won the 1st Place Mechanical Design Award! According to the First Lego League, “this award recognizes a team that designs and develops a mechanically sound robot that is durable, efficient and highly capable of performing challenge missions.” The competition included 32 teams from around the state and was held at the Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Thank you for all of your support during this robotics competition season. Team members included: Thomas Berry, Andrew Kilroy, Jacob Parker, Dylan Mulka, Xander Nelson, and Nicholas Slattery; Upper School student assistant coaches: William Beard and Nicholas Mazzaferro; coached by LeeAnn Pittman.
