Lakeview senior Parker White has been named a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, alongside two other students from the Gainesville/Hall County area. Over 1.3 million juniors entered the 2026 program by taking the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT®. The Semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, with 16,000 recognized this year. They are competing for approximately 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million, to be awarded next spring.
