A New Era for Creativity

Lakeview Academy’s Beverly Fine Arts Center
This year marks a milestone in the history of Lakeview Academy’s Fine Arts program with the opening of our brand-new Beverly Fine Arts Center. Designed to be more than just a building, this beautiful facility has quickly become the heartbeat of our artistic community, providing dedicated instructional and rehearsal spaces for theater, music, and visual arts. Already, its impact is being felt across the campus as students and faculty alike experience how the right environment can inspire growth, creativity, and excellence.
A Space That Elevates the Arts
For years, the Fine Arts program at Lakeview has thrived on the passion of its students and the dedication of its teachers. Yet, the limitations of space often challenged how far we could go in realizing our vision. With the opening of the new Beverly Fine Arts Center, those challenges have given way to unprecedented opportunity.

“This building is more than just walls and rehearsal rooms—it’s a statement about who we are as a school,” said Joe Harris, Fine Arts Director. “We’ve always believed in the power of the arts to shape students’ lives, and now we have a facility that reflects that belief. It gives our students the resources they deserve to pursue their talents at the highest level.”

From an acoustically designed music hall to flexible studio spaces, and a theater rehearsal hall complete with mirrors and a special dance floor material, every corner of the Beverly Fine Arts Center was created with intentionality. The result is a hub that encourages collaboration across disciplines while giving each art form the tools it needs to flourish.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Artists
For students, the impact of the new center is both practical and deeply personal. Parker White, a Lakeview senior, described the difference the building has made in his day-to-day experience: “As a theater student, having a dedicated rehearsal space has been a game changer. It’s not just about having more room—it’s about having a space where creativity feels valued and supported. I feel like I can dream bigger and push myself further.”

Similarly, Anna Lauzon, a Lakeview senior, shared how the visual arts spaces have enriched her craft. “Having access to natural light, professional-grade tools, and room to spread out my work makes me feel like I’m preparing for a future in the arts,” she explained. “It’s exciting to come to class every day knowing that this space was designed for us to thrive.”

Building Leadership Through the Arts
The Beverly Fine Arts Center isn’t just about producing performances and exhibitions—it’s about preparing students for life beyond Lakeview. With the integration of leadership and collaborative opportunities, the building has become a place where young artists also develop as leaders and innovators.
Jason Harper, Assistant Fine Arts Director, emphasized this point: “Our goal is not only to develop talent but also to cultivate confidence, teamwork, and resilience. This facility enables us to create experiences where students learn how to collaborate across disciplines, manage complex projects, and lead with creativity. These are skills that will serve them well no matter what career path they choose.”

A Future Full of Possibility
Already, the Beverly Fine Arts Center has transformed the way Lakeview approaches teaching and learning in the arts. Performances feel more polished, rehearsals more efficient, and classroom discussions more inspired. Students are seizing the opportunity to create at a higher level, and the entire Lakeview community is reaping the benefits.

As we look to the future, the Beverly Fine Arts Center stands as a symbol of Lakeview’s commitment to fostering creativity, discipline, and leadership. It is a place where dreams are nurtured, where talent is honed, and where the next generation of artists and leaders is being prepared to make their mark on the world.
