Lakeview Student Wins Quinlan Art Competition

Keegan Kontur (12th) won the Quinlan Visual Arts Center's recent annual Butterfly Contest. The Quinlan, along with the Gainesville Parks & Recreation Foundation, hosted their annual contest on September 14. The competition was open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Students were given the same supplies, and the work was created on-site. 

 

In addition, Samson Amyx, 9th grade, received Honorable Mention.
