The Lakeview Academy Athletic Department provides the opportunity for 6-8 grade students to participate in as many interscholastic athletic activities as possible. While some of our sports require a limitation of numbers, others are open to all. The number of interested participants per team will dictate whether cuts are made. We encourage our students as well as our parents to take advantage of opportunities to participate. Sports offered include: Football Cross Country Volleyball Basketball Baseball Tennis Soccer Track & Field Swim
Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students enjoy art and music classes each year. Middle School students are encouraged to enter visual art competitions, join the Middle School Chorus, or participate in private music lessons. A different Middle School drama production is performed each winter.
A variety of Middle School clubs are offered each school year. Clubs meet within the regular school day. Past club offerings have been: classic movie club, board game club, P.E. club, and Spanish club.
Private music lessons in piano, guitar, violin, trumpet and beginning brass can be scheduled at Lakeview on a first come first served basis. Scheduling is done through the cooperative efforts of the parent, teacher, and the music director. Fees for lessons are billed through the Business Office. For additional information on music lessons, contact the Fine Arts Director, Joe Harris, at 770-531-2645 or via joe.harris@lakeviewacademy.org.
