Tuition and Affordability
Exemplary Education Within Reach
Lakeview Academy seeks to admit creative, talented, curious, and motivated students regardless of socio-economic background. Our tuition model enables us to provide a superior college-preparatory education for all our students and maintain small class sizes to ensure individualized attention. If you are concerned that the full cost of our tuition may be out of your reach, we encourage you to contact us to discuss assistance options, visit the school, and apply.

Affordability and Tuition Assistance
We offer need-based tuition assistance as well as flexible payment options for 1st through 12th grade. Our admission process is need-blind with decisions made independent of a student’s financial need. We are happy to discuss options with you at any point in the application process and conversations are strictly confidential. Currently over 25% of our families receive some type of tuition assistance.

As a member of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and in accordance with their guidelines, we do not offer merit or athletic-based scholarships at any grade level. Doing so would prohibit students from participating on academic or athletic teams. We offer need-based tuition assistance only.

  • > Applying for Tuition Assistance

We encourage families to apply as soon as possible as funds diminish as the enrollment period progresses. To help us objectively calculate what a family can contribute, Lakeview utilizes an impartial financial aid and award management tool – School and Student Services (SSS) –  which was built in partnership with the National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS). Returning families are required to reapply annually as part of the re-enrollment process.

    Deadlines:
Returning families must apply by April 30, 2021, for the 2021-22 academic year. New families must apply within two weeks of receiving acceptance of admission to Lakeview Academy.

FAQs

List of 6 frequently asked questions.

  • Is there an income level above which a family does not qualify for tuition assistance?

No. There is no ‘magic number’ which determines whether a family does or does not receive assistance. Income is only one factor that is taken into consideration. To help us objectively calculate what a family can contribute, Lakeview utilizes an impartial financial aid and award management tool – School and Student Services (SSS) which was built in partnership with the National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS). Multiple factors are considered when evaluating a family’s ability to pay, including but not limited to household income, family size, the number of children attending tuition-charging schools, and assets and liabilities not reflected in household income. Each situation is unique. If you feel you will need tuition assistance, we encourage you to apply.
