Rock the Block - Christmas on Green Street
Hasty Pope | 529 Green Street
Lakeview is so excited to have a float in this year’s annual Christmas on Green Street parade AND host a Rock the Block watch party on the front lawn of Hasty Pope, LLP.
This annual tradition brings thousands of spectators to kick off the Christmas Season!
Timeline:
- 12 pm: Street closures, Food Trucks Open
- 1:30 pm: Floats / Cars begin lining up for parade, Food Trucks Open
- 2-4 pm: Activities and Performances at the Historic Homes on Green Street (Lakeview Chorale will perform (time TBD)
- 3:30 pm: Walking Groups Stage at Civic Center, Floats / Cars get ready, Roads clear of pedestrians (Make your way to the watch party at 529 Green Street)
- 4 pm: Christmas Parade Begins
- 5:30 pm (or whenever the parade is finished): Rotary Tree Lighting
- 7 pm: Roads reopen
