Describe a meaningful experience you had while at Lakeview.
As a freshman, I was able to be on the basketball team that made it to the Final Four. With this group I not only had fun, I also learned how to be tough and a true competitor. I had looked up to the older guys on the team during middle school and now that I was able to play with them, it was fun to learn and grow with them along my side. They helped me become the person I am today.

Teacher, coach or staff member at Lakeview who has made the biggest impact on you:
I feel as if all my coaches have pushed me to be my best in every area of my life. I was pushed to be great in the classroom and on the court/field. I learned how to be tough and resilient and how to work hard. I may not play sport for the rest of my life, but I will definitely remember the lessons that I learned while in the weight room, on the baseball field, and on the basketball court. Coach Cottrell, Coach Roark, Coach Lawley, Coach Fadool, Coach Seay, Coach Clarke, and Coach Gruhn, thank you all for helping me be the young man I am today.

What will you miss most at Lakeview Academy?
What I will most about Lakeview is the closeness of the students and staff. This senior year I feel as if the senior class grew together as a whole. On Trip Week, I hung out with guys that I usually did not hangout with and we became great friends. I will miss my teachers who were my friends as well and who I could always joke around with. I will miss the school as a whole because of the spirit that many people showed.

Did you participate in anything outside of Lakeview?
Club Baseball, I was able to commit to a college with the help of Club baseball. It helped me get exposure with college scouts.

College you will attend in the fall: Mercer

College degree or area of study: Business/Pre-Med

Other than college, do you have any other plans after high school?
I hope to become a great baseball player at Mercer and hopefully continue my life as a baseball player as long as I want and am able.

The sportsmanship you displayed set a good example for all of your teammates. The respect you gave to the referees and umpires reflected well for Lakeview.
