TALLULAH FALLS – The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team avoided a letdown on Friday night with an 88-48 win over Tallulah Falls on the road.
The win came just three days after the Lions (10-7, 5-2 Region 8-A) posted their first-ever victory at Jefferson High.
Lakeview built an impressive first-half lead on Friday night, posting 25 second-quarter points en route to a 47-27 advantage at the interval.
The Lions cruised down the stretch but kept their defense sharp, holding Tallulah Falls to just eight points in the fourth quarter.
Grayson Ingram led the Lions with 17 points in the win, while Tyler Ward also scored 13 points.
Tallulah Falls got a game-high 18 points from Abdul Deen and 15 points from Aiah Yobah.
