US Exams

10:45 AM-12:45 PM - Conflicts, Makeup exams
Students dismissed after their last exam
Exam times each day are 8:30 and 10:45.  The school day ends at 12:45 on exam days and all students must leave campus unless they have prior arrangements to work with a teacher or coach.  Lunch will NOT be served for Upper School students on these days. 
  • Monday, May 19 – English &  Social Studies
  • Tuesday, May 20 – Science & Spanish
  • Wednesday, May 21 -- Math & Make-ups
Students received an email with the Lakeview exam exemption policy and the link to the form for students to apply for the exam(s) that they would like to exempt.  Contact the Upper School Office should you have any questions about this process or need help deciding which exam(s) you should choose to exempt. 
  • Exemption Request Forms must be submitted by Tuesday, May TBD (unless an outstanding grade is needed to determine your exam exemption eligibility)
  • Once grades are finalized and reviewed, the student, parent, and teacher will get a confirmation email when a student's request to be exempt has been approved.
  • For safety and security reasons, attendance will be taken in each class on review days even for students exempting the exam for that class.
  • Students are welcome (and encouraged!) to check out in the office on exam review days (with parent permission emailed to the Upper School Office) for classes in which they are exempt from the exam.
  • Students on campus during review days are expected to remain in their assigned class for each period to avoid disrupting the review process of other students.  Teachers are asked to keep the students on their roster in class on review days.  Students found in other areas of campus are considered skipping.
