Trip Week
Trip Week is a significant Lakeview tradition for middle and upper school students and a required part of the curriculum.
- Trip Week for 6th and 7th grades will be September 18-19, 2025.
- Trip Week for 8th through 12th grades will begin September 17 and run through September 19 (except for 10th grade, which begins on September 16).

Trip Week
Trip Week is a significant Lakeview tradition and we strongly believe that students and faculty benefit from the socialization, teambuilding and friendship that are central tenets of Trip Week.
Itinerary:
- 6th grade- local day trips (no overnight) to local attractions in Georgia. Students will depart from Lakeview at 8:30 a.m. and return by 4:00 p.m.
- 7th grade- local day trip (no overnight) to local attractions in Georgia. Students will depart from Lakeview at 8:30 a.m. and return by 4:00 p.m.
- 8th grade- Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (overnight, 2 nights/3 days)
- 9th grade - Chattanooga, TN, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, and a tour of Berry College (overnight, 2 nights/3 days)
- 10th grade- Washington, D.C. (overnight, 3 nights/4 days beginning on Tuesday)
- 11th grade- college tours in Nashville, TN (overnight, 2 nights/3 days)
- 12th grade- Universal Studios Orlando (overnight, 2 nights/3 days)
Trip Week is a required part of the Lakeview curriculum unless there is a religious reason, doctor-verified illness, physical limitation, or school-imposed reason. Notification to the school must be made a minimum of two weeks before the start of Trip Week. More details to follow.
