    • Senior Sunset at 6:30 p.m.
      All seniors are invited to meet for dinner at 6:30 p.m. (location TBD) and watch the sunset at Lakeview on the football field afterward. Seniors may bring blankets, pillows, speakers, games, and anything else they want for fun.
    • Senior Girls Sleepover!
      Sunday, August 11, at Emma Johnson's home
      All senior girls are invited to spend the night after senior sunset decorating crowns and other accessories for their first day of school.

  • School Forms & Health Records

    Required school forms including health information, emergency contacts, transportation, and family information updates are now available on the Lion Portal. Medical forms must be completed by August 1, 2024, and all other school forms are due by August 10, 2024.

    Students requiring an allergy, asthma, diabetes, or seizure action plan can find them on the School Nurse page in the Lion Portal. To discuss any medical needs or concerns for your child, the school nurse is available via email at scarlet.pendarvis@lakeviewacademy.org.

  • Bell Schedule for Upper School

    We send information to parents via newsletters including the Roar Newsletter which is sent each Sunday at 4 p.m. during the school year.   • Student Driving and Parking on Campus

    Current Lakeview students with a valid driver’s license can drive and park on campus in areas designated by the school leadership as student parking. For more details and the link to register to park on campus, click "Read More."

  • Lakeview Parent Association - Be a Volunteer!

    Parent involvement is a key component of Lakeview Academy’s mission. The LPA strives to strengthen the partnership between families and the school through volunteer involvement in several ways, such as serving in a leadership role in the LPA, acting as a room parent, volunteering for the school’s fall festival, the annual auction, and more.   • Notifications (Texts and Email)

    Lakeview Academy sends email and text notifications to parents for important announcements such as emergencies and school closings due to weather, and for middle and upper school students, missing assignments, grades posted, and athletic game changes. To receive these notifications, you must enable the service through your account settings in the Lion Portal.

  • Required Athletic Forms

    MS, JV, and Varsity athletes must have the GISA Pre-Participation physical and signed athletic clearance acknowledgment forms on file with athletics PRIOR to the start of seasonal practices for ALL sports. Click "Read More" for additional information.

  • School Supplies

    Students will receive details from each teacher on what they will need for class. For the first day, pencil, paper and laptops are sufficient.

    Upper School students are recommended to have a Texas Instruments TI N-Spire calculator. If you do not own one of these calculators, please ask your math teacher before making any purchases.
     
  • Student Schedules

    Once they are published, students' schedules will be available on the Lion Portal. Click the "Read More" button for who to contact for assistance.

  • Summer Assignments

    Students in grades 9-12 have a reading assignment for their English classes, with the majority due the first day or week of the 2024-2025 school year. There are also optional practice opportunities. Upper School students have summer assignments. To view Upper School assignments – Click here.
  • Transportation

    Bus routes are available to/from Buford, Braselton, Chateau Elan, Cumming, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, Suwanee, and more. Click "Read More" for details including bus stops and pricing.

  • Trip Week

    Trip Week is a significant Lakeview tradition for middle and upper school students and a required part of the curriculum.
    • Trip Week for 6th and 7th grades will be September 19-20, 2024.
    • Trip Week for 8th through 12th grades will begin September 18 and run through September 20 or 21 (depending upon the grade).

  • Uniform & Dress Code

    Lakeview Academy’s uniform and dress code policies have been established to provide an academic environment that is free from distractions. All students are expected to follow the dress code. To download the Uniform & Dress Code and to get a list of uniform, spirit wear, and embroidery vendors – Click here.

    The LPA will host a used uniform sale on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm on the sidewalk next to the Student Center.
